Biografía de Dunsany, Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett
(1878-1957). Autor irlandés. Estudió en Eton y Sandhurst. Tomó parte en la Guerra Sudafricana y la I Guerra Mundial, en la que resultó gravemente herido (1916). Sucedió en 1899 a su padre en el título de barón, con el número dieciocho. Citaremos entre sus libros: The Gods of Pegana (1905), A Dreame`s Tales (1910), Unhappy Faroff Things (1919), The King of Efleand`s Daughter (1924), My Ireland (1937) y Patches of Sunlight (1938), autobiografía. Sus comedias comprenden The Glittering Gate (1909), The Gods the Mountain (1911), A Night at an Inn (1919), Plays of Near and Far (1922), Seven Modern Comedies (1928) y Lord Adrián (1933).
